A reflection on the feedback you received
from your last pitch. Describe what stood out to you as important,
what feedback surprised you the most, what feedback you think was outright
wrong or silly.
What really stood out to me from feedback
was that a few people thought the use of instruments was distracting and not
very useful. I thought since my pitch was about music it would be neat to have
a piano and then a trombone present, but apparently not. After that everyone’s
feedback was supportive and favored my approach to my speaking and to my pitch.
3) What did you change, based on the
feedback?
Since people thought the
instruments were distracting, I removed them from my video all together.
Instead I was outside by a nice tree and just talked, no props or anything.
I love your idea! At least once a day do I think about a song I like, that I had just heard, but do not know the title or artist to look it up! However, I could humm a part of the melody and it would stop killing me inside that I couldn't remember. You did a great job explaining it in your pitch. ReplyDeleteYou did great! The only improvement I would make is to do it inside, or face to face and not with the camera facing up at you. Set you camera down on a desk or dresser at home and just pitch your idea to really sell your audience to it. I thought that the weird camera angle was kind of distracting. Besides that, you talked very slowly and clearly, which I thought was great, and you clearly seemed to believe in your product. Good job!

Hey Karina, I believe you did an excelent job. I am very enthusiastic about what you want to develop however, there is similar services that exist on the market today that can guess your song by how you press a spacebar. The footage taken of yourself is at an odd angle and it is difficult to see you and some of the video had garbled audio.
